'Birth of a Ghost Hunter' cancelled

You read the headline.  There's no way a project like this could work at such a low budget.  I want actual ghost-effects and gore makeup.

Instead, I will be working on a different short film, Free Kid.  Filming will still begin in April.

'Birth of a Ghost Hunter' undergoing a rewrite

After a poor reaction to the first draft, Birth of a Ghost Hunter is undergoing a major rewrite.  It will begin filming in April.

I took footage of my dog getting up.  In the movie, it will be because of food.  During the shooting process, it was because I knocked.

My first amateur test film began shooting today.  I shot the first two shots - of Max's empty bowl and the dog food bag - and the last shot.

'Birth of a Ghost Hunter' first draft completed!

My first short-project, Birth of a Ghost Hunter - unrelated to 2007's Death of a Ghost Hunter - has reached the completion of its first draft.  It took me four nights to write the 21-page screenplay, and as my script consultant points out flaws, I am going back and rewriting it.

I am the future founder of Pouvoir Productions, which will come into being once I film my first project.  A short film, it will start filming in April 2014.

Before that, though, I've decided to do a screen test as I feed my German shepherd.
